Minions are small, yellow, cylindrical creatures who serve as the loyal helpers of Gru in the Despicable Me franchise.
Their first appearance was in the 2010 film, Despicable Me, where they are depicted as numerous, somewhat childlike beings who speak a gibberish language called "Minionese," a mix of real languages with nonsensical babble.
